Description
The Heatcraft Refrigeration EBFVEAC Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) R22 is a metering system used to regulate fluid flow into the evaporator coil in HVAC systems, ensuring proper phase change and stable cooling performance. It operates through a temperature-sensing bulb and diaphragm assembly that adjusts valve opening based on superheat conditions, controlling condensate injection to match load demand. It is mounted in the liquid line before the evaporator, where accurate expansion control is required. It maintains efficient heat transfer, prevents liquid refrigerant return to the compressor, stabilizes system operation, and supports stable cooling performance in residential and commercial air conditioning applications.
