Description
The Packard 66421 1/15HP Draft Inducer is used to generate the combustion airflow in the gas furnace HVAC systems. It is powered by single-phase 208-230 VAC and 60 Hz with an approximate current consumption of 0.68 amps and a spinning speed of about 3180 RPM with CCWSE rotation and ball bearings that ensure smooth operation. It is fitted in the blower assembly of the furnace, where it pulls the flue gases past the heat exchanger and outside the vent to ignition. Its regulated airflow allows proper activation of the pressure switch and combustion of the system under normal heating operation.
