Description
Lochinvar & A.O. Smith 100338349 BACnet IP Module is a component that allows communication between heating equipment and building automation systems in that it transmits operational data via an IP network. It communicates through BACnet protocol to share the information between the controllers and the connected, enabling them to monitor and control them centrally. It is installed in control interfaces, typically found in HVAC systems, including boilers and water heating units, and is compatible with facility management systems. This functionality enhances visibility of the system, enables remote control and assists in ensuring uniform operation by coordinated communication among related parts.
