Description
The Lennox 17D77 Drain Pan Assembly is a condensate-collecting component used to maintain the moisture that is generated during the cool process in the HVAC system. The warm air flows over the evaporator coil, condensed water appears on the coil surface and runs into the pan, whereby it is channeled to the outlet connection. The assembly has a size of 21″ by 17″ pan size, which fits under evaporator coil under air handler or indoor unit. It is located beneath the coil section and gathers condensate redirecting it to the attached outlet line when the system is in operation.
