The Johnson Controls VG2431UM+845E01 N/C Control Valve Spring W/Positioner 3″ Flanged 83Cv is a fluid control unit that is used in the hydronic component of HVAC systems to control the flow of chilled or hot water in coils and distribution piping. It is essentially used to regulate flow based on a mechanical 9-13 PSI to control signal. It is done by flanged connection to piping and measurement is required. In air handlers, chillers and boiler systems, it assists in proper temperature regulation, flow balance and operation of the system.
