Description
The International Comfort Products 1187934 Induced Draft Motor drives combustion airflow by drawing flue gases through the heat exchanger and forcing them to the vent system which is used to ensure safe operation in HVAC systems. It works on a 460V supply to produce the necessary pressure to stabilise burner performance. It operates on the concept of rotating a blower wheel attached to it to push the exhaust gases through the system efficiently. It is attached to furnace assemblies close to the flue outlet, and is combined with ignition and safety controls. It aids in proper venting, and consistent operation.
