Description
The Cleveland Controls AFS-222-137 Air Pressure Sensing Switch is a differential pressure sensor component, used to measure, and react to air pressure changes in HVAC systems. It works by detecting air pressure differentials between ducts, fans or filters and closes, or opens its electrical contacts within a given range to indicate correct airflow or activate safety interlocks. It has rated standard control voltages that are used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, where it is installed in air handling units, furnaces, or ventilation systems to provide part of the sequencing, filter monitoring, and flame protection.
