Description
The Browning 4C96R 4-Groove Cast Iron Sheave 10″ OD is a mechanical power transmission system to provide rotational movement of a motor to powered equipment using multi-groove belts in HVAC systems. Its primary purpose is to provide it with a stable contact surface that guides and supports belts to enable a steady transmission of torque and a speed ratio between driven and driving shafts. It is mounted on a shaft, well keyed and set with screws, and adjusted to give the sheaves a matched and uniform tension to the belt.
