Description
The Amana-Goodman HA-03 High Altitude Adapter Kit is a fuel delivery and combustion adjustment kit that allows the furnace to operate properly at high altitudes which ensures the furnace can be relied upon to provide heating in HVAC systems. It is intended to be used in gas furnaces, and packaged units that run above about 2000 feet and adjusts the gas flow properties as a result of decreased air density. It works by re-setting the air-to-fuel ratio to enable stable combustion at altitude conditions. Used on furnace assemblies during installation or conversion, it combines with burner parts.
