The Amana-Goodman 0270F00937S Service Pack Heat Exchanger is a core thermal transfer component used to isolate the combustion gases and air and transfer heat to conditioned air. It mainly helps the purpose of capturing heat generated by the burner and moving it through metal surfaces to the airflow without mixing of combustion with the supply air. The tube-and-fin mechanism of the exchanger facilitates efficient underloading heat transfer. It includes the replacement of the current unit in the furnace cabinet and connecting the unit with the burner and venting assemblies on a basic level.
