Description
The York S1-02543288000 Thermo Expansion Valve manages the flow of refrigerant in the HVAC systems by varying the amount of liquid supplied to the evaporator as a response to thermal load conditions to achieve proper superheat and balanced cooling operation. It has ODF connections of 3/8 inch by 5/8 inch which gives it a secure brazed connection to refrigerant lines to allow stable flow control and leak-proof sealing. The temperature-sensitive sensing element adjusts the internal valve port to suit the evaporator demand to facilitate efficient heat exchange, avoids floodback, and maintains controlled pressure differentials under different operating conditions.
