Description
The Supco SHP480380 Pressure Switch is a control part that is applied to measure the refrigerant pressure in the high-side line of air conditioning and heat pump in HVAC systems. It is fitted into the refrigerant circuit and when the open pressure is above 480 PSI, it interrupts the electrical control signal to prevent the compressor and other components in the refrigerant circuit, and when the pressure falls below 380 PSI, it closes the reset. This switch is used to avoid mechanical damage in operating conditions where the system reacts to high-pressure events to ensure HVAC performance.
