The York S1-02436124000 1/3 HP Condenser Motor is designed to move air in a heat pump or air conditioner HVAC systems, to operate the condenser fan and circulate the air in the outdoor coil to reject the heat gained in the interior areas. It operates at 240 V single phase at 50/60 Hz with a counter-clockwise rotation to convert electrical power into mechanical motion to ensure that the air moves correctly over the condenser coil. It is installed in the fan assembly of the outdoor unit to help in effective heat transfer under load conditions.
