The Johnson Controls A99BB-25C Positive Temperature Coefficient Silicon Sensor is a modern part that effectively measures and reports temperature in HVAC systems. As a silicon sensor, it incorporates advanced Positive Temperature Coefficient (PTC) technology to give an accurate temperature reading from -40°F to 212°F. It is a compact, 9-3/4” long sort of sensor that relies upon the change in electrical resistance of temperature to forward accurate temperature readings to HVAC control systems. This sensor replaces the Te-6000-960 sensor and is applied in air handling units, refrigeration systems, and environmental chambers to keep the required conditions for their operation.
