The ASCO 8030G083 2-Way Low-Pressure Gas Vent Solenoid Valve 120V/60Hz-110V/50Hz 2950 BTU/HR is used to control the release of low-pressure gas in HVAC systems by opening or closing in response to an electrical signal. It is a normally open type of valve that uses an electromagnetic coil to move a plunger internally to either permit or interrupt the flow of gas. It is developed to be used in residential and commercial settings and installed in line with gas vent lines, using 3/4″ NPT connections to be securely installed. It aids in the safe operation of the system.
