The BASO Gas Products K16RA-36H 36″ Nickel-Plated Husky High Performance thermocouple generates a millivolt signal in response to heat from the pilot flame, which the gas valve reads to confirm flame presence and hold the valve open during normal heating operation in HVAC systems. Their structure allows it to produce a stronger and more stable electrical voltage output than standard thermocouples, ensuring consistent signal delivery even under demanding thermal conditions. Connected between the pilot burner assembly and the gas valve in boilers, furnaces and water heaters. Its 36-inch length provides sufficient reach for varied installation configurations without requiring extension leads.
