Description
The A.O. Smith 9006918005 Natural Gas Valve Kit is an essential component of gas-fired HVAC system including furnaces and boilers. This kit usually consists of such components as gas valves, solenoids, and pressure regulators. It is used to regulate the flow of natural gas to the burner to facilitate proper combustion. The solenoid is an electromagnetic component of the part that controls the flow of the gas depending on the signals received from the thermostat. The pressure regulator ensures that the pressure of the gas is kept constant avoiding conditions such as high pressure.
