Description
The A.O. Smith 9006256015 Low Gas Pressure Switch is an anti-ignite meant to shut down gas appliances in the event of low gas pressure. It operates through the detection of the pressure gas supplied to the HVAC system appliance. When the pressure becomes low and is below the safe operating pressure the switch opens causing the power supply to be disconnected, this situation means that there are chances that the tubes containing the gas they use may be leaking or even exploding. This safety feature is essential for several types of heating systems such as gas furnaces, boilers, and water heaters.
