Description
The Watts 740-3/4-30 Relief Valve is a pressure safety component used to remove unwanted pressure in heating HVAC systems. It will open at a pressure inside the element of 30 PSI and will force the fluid out of the outlet to avoid over-pressurisation of hydrostatic circuits. The connection between the system pipes and the valve is a 3/4″ x 1″ FNPT fitting, and the valve can handle equipment capacities up to 925,000 BTU. It is placed on the pressure line of a boiler or a water heater.
