The Watts 40XL-5-3/4 Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve is a safety component that releases excess pressure and temperature to protect equipment during operation within HVAC systems. Built with a 3/4″ connection, set to open at 150 PSI, and featuring a 5″ probe, it uses a spring-loaded mechanism combined with a temperature-sensing element that triggers discharge when limits are exceeded.
