The Laars Heating Systems RV0046700 Safety Shutoff Valve is a flow control component that opens, or closes based on signals and is used in boiler units in HVAC systems, to maintain safe operation. It is controlled by a 24V control signal, which opens or closes the valve mechanism when needed. It has a 1-1/4″ connection, fits into the gas line and connects to the control system to coordinate the response.
