Description
The Trane SWT03221 Pressure Switch is an essential component used to monitor inducer draft conditions. This 1/10 HP rated component operates at 24 VAC control voltage and supports pilot duty loads of 28 VA at 24 VAC and 125 VA at 120 VAC in HVAC systems. It is installed in compatible furnace assemblies where it responds to changes in negative pressure within the venting system by opening or closing an electrical circuit based on air flow conditions. Positioned in the draft inducer and heat exchanger section, it operates as part of the safety control chain alongside the inducer motor, control board, and ignition system.
