The Xylem-Hoffman Specialty 17C-1/2-A 1/2” Angle Trap is a steam condensate trap designed for removing condensate and air from steam lines and heat exchange equipment by opening and closing internal passages in response to pressure and temperature variations. In HVAC Systems, it is connected within steam coils, unit heaters, and piping assemblies where it is mounted in an angled inline configuration for controlled flow direction, and its 25 PSI rating supports steady condensate discharge while maintain consistent heat transfer across commercial heating applications.
