Field Controls OVD-5 Oil Vent Damper Length of 5″ is designed to improve the performance and energy efficiency of oil-fired HVAC systems. The furnace or boiler heat automatically closes the vent pipe with this damper which reduces heat loss and also reduces energy waste. It also reduces the chance of back-drafting making sure that exhaust gases are baled out of the machine before being sent out into the air.
