Description
The Barnes & Jones 3875 Vacuum Breaker is a mechanical backflow prevention component that has a 3/4 inch NPT connection with a rating of 125 PSI in HVAC systems. It permits the flow of air into a pressurized line when a siphon condition is created so that contaminated water is not pulled back into the potable water supply. This vacuum breaker is installed in the plumbing, boiler, or hydronic heating systems in low points or around equipment drain points to protect the integrity of the systems.
