Description
The Amana-Goodman 0131F00127S blower motor is a 1/3 horsepower (HP) replacement motor built exclusively for Amana-Goodman air conditioners and heat pumps. The electrical source provides 115 volts AC power to the motor. This electrical energy is used by the motor to produce rotational force on its internal shaft. The fan blade assembly located inside the outdoor unit is attached to the motor shaft. The fan blades spin quickly as the shaft revolves at 1075 revolutions per minute. Through the intake grille of the unit, outside air is drawn in by the revolving fan blades. After that, the condenser coils are dragged across by this air, which absorbs heat from the refrigerant inside the coils. Ultimately, the heated air is released from the device, which helps the air conditioning system remove heat.
