The Amana-Goodman 0131M00460SC 1-horsepower single-phase condenser fan motor controller is manufactured to control the condenser fan motors of air conditioning and heat pump systems. The electrical wiring is used to regulate the voltage-supplied to the motor of the fan so as to determine their speed. This variable speed control enhances system efficiency since it responds to cooling requirements in the system. During low cooling load, the controller decreases fan speed to save energy and also to reduce noise. On the other-hand, in periods of high load, it rises the fan-speed to guarantee heat exchange and optimum cooling rate.
