Description
The Trane VAL12714 is a Thermal Expansion Valve that is an essential element of the HVAC system and its purpose is to regulate the amount of coolant flow that enters the evaporator coil. The device functions through temperature variations and opens to allow refrigerant circulation when cooling is necessary and to limit circulation to the optimum temperature. This model uses mechanical fittings with brazed joint male/female connections suitable for R410A refrigerant circuits. The capacity of 1-1/2 ton, has found usage in 5-ton R410A HVAC systems, the TXV helps in controlling the refrigerant flow effectively to the maximum efficiency of the system.
