The Trane VAL10495 BBIZE-15-GA B30 is a high performance HVAC expansion valve suitable for use in heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. Expansion valves are highly regarded components used to meter refrigerant flow within evaporators. It operates by lowering the pressure of high pressure liquid refrigerant that enters the evaporator coil. Unlike most of its competitors, the Trane VAL10495 is self-lubricating, a straight-through design that has the refrigerant flowing through the valve in a straight line. It is made up of brass hence ensuring long useful service and has a brass seat to ensure a seal.
