Description
The Trane SHE5346 which is a component of belt driven systems that are common in HVAC equipment. This is a sheave of BK 90 H style which is a grooved pulley for V-belts. The sheave is 9.5” long, 1-5/8” wide and has a pitch length of 7/8 inches. The pitch diameter is of significant importance in determining the right belt fit and is described in two ranges 8A/4L and 8.4B/5L. The bore diameter is also variable in the range 3/8 in – 1.5 in depending on the driving shaft size. The powder coated coating enhances the product’s longevity and also it is not easily corroded. Buckles operate symmetrically to sheaves with the grooves leading the belt and creating friction to transfer power from the motor towards the other accessories.
