Description
The Trane RLY3522 is a small, 24V relay that is made for use with Trane HVAC systems only. Measuring only 1.69” height, 0.85” length, and 0.8” width, this relay is an essential component in managing electrical circuits. It is similar to having an invisible conductor. The RLY3522 employs a coil whereby when a 24V is applied, it flips internal switch contacts to close the circuit. These contacts are made from silver cadmium oxide and they are capable of handling up to 50 amps and this makes the relay control high current parts of your Trane unit. The RLY3522 has a DPDT (Double Pole, Double Throw) type that provides more management of two distinct circuits.
