Description
The Lennox 15D33 is a Thermal Expansion Valve, applied to control the refrigerant flow in HVAC systems accurately. It responds to changes in the pressure and temperature of the evaporator coil. Metering in the TXV improves cooling capacity and reduces flooding of the evaporator, which is undesirable for the compressor. You will normally find TXVs in air conditioners, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment among other applications. This is designed for 4-ton systems and has a 3/8” and 1/2” inlet and outlet respectively, The frequency of 50Hz is not allowed for TXVs.
