The Trane EXC1858 is an essentialpart of Trane HVAC systems, which is designed to facilitate heat exchange between two fluids. But you can think of it as the central part of the climate control system. This heat exchanger is approximately 24 inches in all three directions and offers a large surface area for this transfer. On one side there is hot refrigerant, and on the other side, there is cooler air. The EXC1858 functions as a medium through which the refrigerant is able to transfer its heat to the air making it warmer before it is circulated throughout your home.
