Description
The Trane FUS2169 is a 121C Fusible Link that is safety device made for use on Trane HVAC systems. This small component, measuring only 3.63”, is to protect your equipment and prevent electrical overload. A fusible link has a metallic element that melts when current is passed through it in excess of the recommended limit. This melting action interrupts the flow of electricity and would avoid overheating costly and vulnerable HVAC components such as a compressor or motor. Approved for 25A and maximum temperature 250°F, It serves as a sacrificial anode. In case, it gives up its own resources in order to avoid expensive damages and safeguard your Trane HVAC system.
