Description
The Trane COM9848 Scroll Compressor is a high horse power compressor for air conditioning systems that uses environmentally friendly R-410A refrigerant. This compressor has a refrigeration ton of 8.75 tons but it is quite small, measuring approximately 24″ in length. Refrigerant circulation is made secure with the help of brazed stub tubes. This Compressor works with a motor that drives two concentric, scroll-shaped components located in a hermetic case. While one scroll rotates the other, refrigerant gas is compressed and the pressure and temperature rise. This compressed refrigerant is then circulated within this system for in-take of heat from inside the house, and releasing this heat to the outside using R-410A refrigerant.
