Description
The York S1-025-42692-000 is a component of HVAC systems that controls the flow of refrigerant. In the work as a thermal expansion valve (TXV), it controls the amount of liquid refrigerant supplied into the evaporator to ensure the performance of the system. This valve depends on the evaporator temperature; when the evaporator is cold it does not allow much flow and when the evaporator is warm the TXV opens up to allow more refrigerant in. This TXV is designed for R-410A refrigerant and has 3/8” inlet and outlet connections that are most suitable for 5-ton HVAC applications.
