The York S1-4190 R22 2-3.5T Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is a high-performance product that is intended to enhance the performance and durability of HVAC systems. Designed for R22 refrigerant, this non-bleed TXV comes with a capacity rating of 2-3.5 tons which is appropriate for most residential and light commercial cooling applications. Having connection sizes of 3/8″ x 3/4″, it is in harmony with the existing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This TXV operates in a fashion where it manages the passing of refrigerant into the evaporator coil by the cooling requirement of the system. It regulates refrigerant flow to ensure the pressure and temperatures are so that the evaporator can work efficiently, and appropriately.
