The Rheem-Ruud 611053 1-1/2Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is one of the HVAC components and it is designed for air conditioning systems and heat pumps that require R-410A refrigerant. This thermal expansion valve is well-designed and engineered to control the flow of the coolant to the right regions of the system where it is required to cool with the right pressure and temperature. The length of the 18” equalizer tube and 30” capillary tube ensures that the refrigerant flow is properly controlled to ensure the stability of the system. This specific expansion valve has an external equalizer connection of 3/8 “sweat” and sweat-type inlet and outlet fittings to enable a perfect fit into HVAC systems.
