Description
Sporlan Controls 108677 External Thermal Expansion Valve is operated to control refrigerant flow in HVAC systems that use R500 refrigerant. This TXV has a connection size of 3/8” x 1/2” ODF and a capillary length of 30”, controlling the amount of refrigerant flow according to the cooling needs of the system. The valve capacity is designed for systems of 1/4 to 1/3 of a ton and is suitable for small commercial or residential air conditioning and refrigeration. The TXV operates in a way that controls the flow of the refrigerant to achieve the right evaporator superheat to enhance the efficiency of the system.
