Description
The Weil McLain 633-500-038 Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve is a protection nozzle rated for the AquaPlus series, set to open within the 35 to 55 PSI range when water pressure inside the boiler vessel exceeds safe operating limits. It threads directly into the boiler body at a designated port and discharges water through a drain line when either the pressure or thermal limit is breached, relieving the excess buildup before it reaches a critical level. Within HVAC systems, this valve acts as the final overpressure safeguard on the boiler, preventing vessel damage by venting pressurized water away from the heat source.
