Description
The York S1-025-41023-000 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to control the flow of refrigerant in heating ventilating and air conditioning systems. This TXV is built from brass and is designed for use with R-22 refrigerants making it suitable for use in evaporators. It works, based on the regulation of the amount of refrigerant allowed into the evaporator coils allowing the coils to stay within optimum freezing temperatures. It also assists in the conservation of the cooling systems’ energy reserves, it also avoids freeze-ups due to limited amount of refrigerant that enters the evaporator. This particular TXV has a non-adjustable characteristic, and this makes its installation and usage easier as there are no adjustments made.
