Williams Comfort Products P296201 Differential Switch is a temperature-sensitive switch created for HVAC systems and used in wall furnaces and other heating equipment. The switch works by sensing the temperature difference and controls the fan to help the system heat efficiently. This switch causes the blower to operate only when the internal temperature is 165°F, and stops it when it falls to 35°F, so cold air isn’t circulated. It will often find this switch in wall furnaces, improves comfort, increases equipment longevity, and reduces energy use.
