The Trane MOT18979 is a high output replacement motor suitable for several Trane HVAC units. This is a single phase motor with 1/2 horsepower and voltage of 277 volts with a rotation speed of 1075 RPM. It is efficient, but it is relatively small, about 4.8 inches in length with a 0.5 inch diameter shaft. The motor’s enclosure type is ODP which is suitable for most indoor HVAC applications.
