The Trane VAL9111 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an essentialpart of HVAC systems which ensures proper flow of refrigerant experiences and controls the system quality. In this aspect, it functions as a thermal expansion valve, which works by admitting the refrigerant into a sensing chamber that detects its temperature and pressure before regulating the valve opening to allow correct circulation of the refrigerant. Designed for use specifically with R-410A refrigerant and with a 3-ton threshold, this valve is designed for use in commercial HVAC systems of medium to large size.
