The Watts 0121406 Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve is a safety valve that is used to prevent high pressure and temperature in boilers, water heaters and other hydronic systems. It has a 3/4-inch coupling and has a pressure relief valve of 150 PSI. This LF40L series valve has a BTU of up to 1,437,600 and comes with several advantages such as increased safety to avoid equipment deterioration and increased system durability. Under some conditions, the process pressure and/or temperature reaches certain essential levels which are unsafe, the valve is designed to open and revert thereby minimizing disasters such as explosions or leakage.
