Description
The Trane VAL10581 is a Thermal Expansion Valve designed for use in circuits containing refrigerants of HVAC systems. It is an essentialelement that controls refrigeration depending on the magnitude of temperature. Made of brass due to its durability, the TXV is a straight-through valve with ODF meaning that outer diameter fittings are used for the refrigerant line. The valve has an internal thermal actuator which is filled with a temperature-sensitive bulb. This bulb is located at the evaporator coil outlet where the refrigerant draws heat from the air passing over it.
