Description
Trane CNT06849 Defrost Control with 60 Cap is a significant part of the refrigeration equipment work and is used in Trane HVAC equipment. This control unit also avoids the formation of ice on the evaporator coils through a cyclic control of defrosting. During operation; frost 1 forms at the evaporator coils as they take heat from the air. If not well checked, this frost deposit affects the system heat absorption mechanism thus reducing efficiency and cooling capacity. The defrost control of a Trane detects accumulation of frost deposit and then it starts the defrost mode. This cycle for a brief period reverses the system by thawing the ice on the coils.
