The Veris Industries TIDB1I0 4” Immersion Duct Temperature Sensor works with a thermistor or RTD element that is installed in a 4-inch stainless steel probe in the HVAC system. The probe is used when it is placed in a duct or immersion well as it measures changes in air or fluid temperature. The thermal change affect electrical resistance of the sensing element and the signal that is relayed. This data makes it possible for a system to control. The sensor is useful in monitoring the temperature of equipment as the air handling unit, rooftop system, and boiler.
