Description
Trane COM13128 Scroll Compressor is a robust compressor suitable for moderate cooling loads in commercial and industrial applications but comes with an R-22 refrigerant. A strong and compact (hermetic) cast iron vessel, which can be a self-contained unit. This is a Trane compressor and unlike other piston compressors, this one uses scroll to compress the refrigerant. In the sealed housing, two intertwined scrolls work like a high-pressure pump and squeeze the refrigerant gas. This design is equivalent to 2.33 tons (approximately 27,960 BTUH) which is suitable for cooling of medium-sized areas.
