Description
The Packard CH2553 Crankcase Heater is used to inhibit a flow of refrigerant and oil dilution in compressors. It has a 100-watt output with a 480-volt rating, which is used to warm the compressor crankcase in a gentle manner to ensure that the oil remains viscous and that the refrigerant does not condense during the off-cycle of a commercial and industrial HVAC system. The heater is mounted directly to the compressor housing and ensures consistent startups, minimizes internal damages and increases the overall system life.
